Troll Rehab

Not only is the Troll a Troll but at times he is more like a caged animal. You see we live in a tiny little 1,000 sq foot old farm house, and between him being in the hospital all day Thursday, Friday FORCED to take it easy, and the rain keeping him in the house all day yesterday, he was in RARE form this morning. So I thought maybe a little fresh air and a short walk might do him a little good. A little Troll Rehab - NOT!!!!

"ONE.... I MEAN IT HOLLY.... ONE BOX!" as he agrees to go.

"There are 3 boxes on this one short trail", I tell him.

So off to Oconee Station we go.

We get on the trail and DUH it is wet and slightly muddy. The Troll checks up on a tree root. "You have me out here a in the mud and I just got out of the hospital, HOLLY", he grumps.

I find the first box, and we hike on to the falls. It was so quiet, spring starting to show in the forest, little critters walking around. It really was a beautiful space to be in, with the exception of the Troll complaints. SIGH, he really can be a Troll.

Like with most of Trivia Daddy's boxes, I have problems with the next box I look for. I find it but not quickly and easily and the Troll is pacing waiting for me, while I have my traditional conversation with Trivia Daddy. :O)

The 3rd box is on the way back - "Why did we just not do this on the way, HOLLY?"

"BECAUSE, the clues are written from the FALLS BACK - TROLL!!!!!!!, We have to walk back ANYWAY don't we ?, So just BE QUIET already and walk!" I snap back at him, asking myself why in the world I even bother to do this with him anyway !

I find the 3rd box and we walk the rest of the way to the car. We get back in the car and drive back to the valley.

I ask him WHY in the world he could not just have a good time?

"I don't like letterboxing HOLLY, I don't mind hiking if we were just hiking but I don't like letterboxing !" says the Troll

If you can understand that one .... let me know ..... it is just Troll logic I guess.

Well we are back home in the valley, he is outside doing something and I logged my finds. Tempted to go out a little longer and grab a few more, but you can rest assured if I do, the Troll can stay here !
